Life at Fantasy Lounge

Release date: January 29, 2010

As a reviewer I get asked to check out a million bands. As I opened this bands website you could tell they were
extremely professional. There is a special section just for reviewers/critics. On this page one can download the
entire album, look at their bio, photos, “Lounge radio”, lyrics, CD cover art, poster, EPK for Sonic bids, and their
contact information. If I were to hand out an award for professionalism these guys would win!

Keeping that thought in mind, you already know that the music and lyrics will be top notch from this band. Based
out of the Chicago area they already have a large line up of dates for shows they are performing.

The band claims their genre as; Rock, Americana, Indie, but after reviewing the CD I think they should also add
Country and Pop onto that list. A few of the songs have a little country feel to them.

There are 12 songs on their new CD. The first song “Lie” starts off slow but quickly picks up the tempo. The song
“Duluth”, the second song on the album is my favorite. As soon as you listen to it, you think of Bob Dylan. It has
that feel of all the fans singing along to it at a concert.

Some of the songs seem to have a down depressing lyrical t
heme about them. Such as life, these songs are all
about things that happen to us in life at one time or another. For example, the song, “out of hand” has a line in it
that says: “Time after time the story’s told, but save it for some other asshole. Come back to me when you see – I
want you begging on your knees”.

The song “Morning star” has a little more positive outlook about it. The lyrics and rhythms of the guitar glide
together nicely. The song ends on a positive note: “Believe what you will and not what you see – and in time, yeah
I'm lost, bruised and blind. And still, you're my morning star”.

After listening to this CD about 15 times it becomes very addicting. If you would like to hear a sample of their
